OmniScanner does not collect, store, or share any personal information.

• Scanned documents or images
• Location data
• Any sensitive user information

2. Local Data Storage

All scanned documents and files are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your files at any time.

3. Permissions We Use

OmniScanner requests only the minimum permissions needed:

• Camera – used only to scan documents. The camera is never used in the background.
• Photo Selection (Android Photo Picker) – when you import an image, Android's built-in photo picker lets you choose specific photos. The app does not access your entire photo library or all media files on your device.

We do not request broad storage or media access. Images you capture or select are processed only on your device.

4. Google Drive Integration

If you choose to use Google Drive sync:

• Files are uploaded directly to your Google Drive account
• We do not access or store your files on our servers
• Authentication is securely handled by Google

5. Third-Party Services

OmniScanner may use technologies such as Google ML Kit and OpenCV. These operate on-device and do not collect personal data.

6. Data Security

Since we do not collect or store user data, your information remains fully under your control.

7. Children's Privacy

OmniScanner does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 18.

8. Changes to This Policy
